For overland travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara and from Pokhara to Kathmandu, Greenline Bus is the best mode of transport. Greenline is a sophisticated tourist bus with international standards and safety.
To travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara and vice versa in Kathmandu as well as in Pokhara there avail many tourist buses. But among all buses, Greenline comes out on top in terms of reliability, facilities, trust, location, and long-running services.
The drivers of Greenline Bus are well-trained, professional, and experienced. The buses’ interiors are specially designed to provide a comfortable journey while the big windows provide a panoramic view of the countryside.
The fully air-conditioned interiors will keep you cool during hot summers and humid monsoons while the soon-to-be-installed heaters will keep you warm and cozy during the winters.
Greenline has currently five buses servicing the three major tourist destinations of Nepal. It has daily bus services leaving from Kathmandu, Pokhara, and Chitwan leaving in the morning and arriving by the late afternoon.
From Kathmandu to Pokhara the driving distance is 205 Km. Every day Greenline bus departs from Tridevi Marg, Thamel (In front of Himalayan Bank) Kathmandu at 7:30 AM. The reporting time is 7:00 a.m. It arrives at Lakeside Pokhara at 3:00 PM.
Note: After the COVID-19 pandemic, Greenline Bus has not resumed its bus services from Kathmandu to Pokhara and from Pokhara to Kathmandu. Thus, Greenline bus services are not available now.
