Tibet Tour 4 days: Lhasa tour is a short trip of exploring Lhasa City. Lhasa is the capital of Tibet Autonomous Region lies on the north bank of Lhasa River. It is also one of the highest cities in the world at an elevation of 3658 meters/ 12001 feet.

Tibet Tour 4 days is the ideal way to discover the historical glory and cultural highlights of Lhasa. During this trip, you will visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Market, Norbulingka, Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery.

Firstly you visit Potala Palace. It is the winter palace of Dalai Lamas famous for its grand buildings, complicated constructions, devotional atmosphere and splendid artworks. This palace was built as the center of Tibetan government by the Fifth Dalai Lama in 1645.

Secondly, Jokhang Temple. It is the most sacred temple in Tibet with four stories and has a golden top. Close to the Jokhang Temple, you visit Barkhor Market. It is an ancient round street market with varied shops on its both sides shows the original outlook of Lhasa.

After that, you will make the visit of Norbulingka. It is the summer palace of Dalai Lama. It is also the biggest man-made garden in Tibet Autonomous Region. Then to see Sera Monastery followed by Drepung Monastery.

Sera Monastery is one of three important monasteries in Lhasa is famous for the interesting debates conducted here by Buddhist monks every day. Similarly, Drepung Monastery is the largest and most influential monastery of Lhasa is famed for the high standards of its Buddhist academic study.
