Naya Kanga Peak Climbing (5844m/19168ft) is another outstanding summit excursion in Nepal. Naya Kanga also called by Ganja La Chuli is located in Langtang. Langtang Region is one of the popular trekking destinations with perfect alpine landscape closed to Tibet border.

Bill Tillman, the renowned British mountaineer, described it as the most beautiful valley in the world. In Langtang, there are several peaks with great appeal. The highest one is Langtang Lirung (7200m/ 23622ft). The Langtang region is easily accessible by road transportation from Kathmandu.

Naya Kanga Peak is positioned to the west of Ganja La pass, 5132m/ 16837ft. Technically it is a little bit difficult to climb however it also suitable for the people who have less climbing experience. This peak is rated at Alpine Grade PD+ in terms of its difficulty of the climb. The usual route to climb Naya Kanga Peak is via the snowy north-east ridge.

The summit of Naya Khanga Peak Climbing offers the remarkable views of the mountains lies in Nepal and Tibet like Langtang Lirung (7246m), Lenpo Gang 7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6990m) and Shishapangma (8027m).

The Naya Kanga Tri Climbing trip starts with driving from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi. From Syabrubeshi you start trekking towards Langtang Valley following the trail through the dense forests of Bamboo, Oaks, pines, and Maples along Langtang.

After two days of trekking, you arrive in Langtang village, the biggest settlement of the area influenced by Tibetan culture. Then you reach the Kyangjin Gompa, the beautiful alpine pasture. From Kyanjin you make a day hike up to Kyangjin Ri (4700m) or Tsherko Ri (4980m) for the spectacular Himalayan views and acclimatization.

Afterward, you continue trekking to cross steep Ganja La through moraine and arrive at base camp. After set up the high camp here you begin climbing to the summit.  The climb near the summit should be done carefully. Normally, the ascent takes 5-7 hours from the high camp. After the summit, you trek down to Syabrubesi following the previous trial and back to Kathmandu by the drive.
