Muktinath Tour 5 nights 6 days is the divine journey to one of the eight most holy Vishnu temples in the world – Muktinath. The name Muktinath denotes the God who offers Moksha (release from the cycle of rebirth). Muktinath is also renamed by Muktidham. This is also one of the ancient Hindu temples that located in Muktinath Valley at an altitude of 3,710 meters at the foot of the Thorong La Himalaya pass in Mustang district of Nepal.
As mentioned in the literature of Sri Vaishnava this is Thiru Saligramam. It means houses of the Saligrams, believed as the form of Narayana. Here in the banks of the Kali Gandaki River Saligrams are naturally available. Not only Hindus Buddhists also highly honor Muktinath as the manifestation of Avalokeshwor.
Nearby this holy temple, there are 108 water springs where the devotees take their sacred bath. In the given program Muktinath tour begins from Kathmandu. On your arrival day after check into your hotel room, you will be transferred to visit Pashupatinath temple, one of the holiest Shiva temple in the world.
Next day you drive to Pokhara. After half of your drive, you will stop at Kurintar where you board the cable car to visit Manakamana Temple, the Goddess of wish-fulfilling. After puja of Manakamana you back to Kurintar and keep continue drive to Pokhara. Today your night stay will be at the hotel in Pokhara, naturally very beautiful city.
Another day early in the morning you fly from Pokhara to Jomsom. Upon arrival in Jomsom airport, you walk few distances and take a drive to Muktinath. Your jeep stops at Ranipauwa, the village below Muktinath temple. You walk nearly half an hour to the main temple. Have a bath at 108 water springs and puja at Muktinath temple. Then you drive back to Jomsom.
Next day you fly to Pokhara. In the afternoon our guide takes you to visit different places of Pokhara like Bindavashini temple, David Fall, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave and Barahi temple (the temple on the Fewa lake, you visit this temple by boating). Then on the 5th day, you drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu where this holy Muktinath tour ends.
