Tibet Travel 6 days: Lhasa Tsedang Tour is a fascinating cultural tour in Tibet. This trip begins with travel around landmarks of Lhasa. Then it takes you to discover Tsedang which is well-known as ‘the cradle of Tibetan civilization’.

In Lhasa, you will visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Market, Norbulingka and also follow to the Sera Monastery and Drepung Monastery.

Potala Palace is the winter palace of Dalai Lamas which is famous for its grand buildings, spiritual atmosphere, and splendid artworks. It is considered as the highest palace in the world. It was built by the fifth Dalai Lama in 1645 for the center of Tibetan government.

Jokhang Temple is the most sacred temple throughout Tibet. Built in 647 AD this temple is also the major seat of the Gelugpa group of Tibetan Buddhism. It is located in the center of old Lhasa city.

Barkhor Market is an ancient round street market with varied shops shows the original outlook of Lhasa. Tibetan houses line the streets, and the ground is paved with flagstones. The street of Barkhor Market circumambulates holy Jokhang temple.

Norbulingka is the summer residence of Dalai Lama. It is also the biggest man-made garden in Tibet. Likewise, Sera Monastery is one of three major monasteries in Lhasa is famous for everyday debates by monks on Buddhism and Drepung Monastery is the largest and most influential monastery of Lhasa is famed for the high standards of its Buddhist academic study.

In Tsedang you visit Yumbulakang. It is the first palace built in Tibet which boasts many sculptures and paintings from ancient time followed by Trundruk Monastery (Beautiful monastery that displays Thangka decorated with 29026 pearls) and Samye Monastery (The first monastery built in Tibet before 1000 years. Its buildings have three distinctive styles of architecture: Tibetan, Han, and Indian).
