Australian Camp and Dhampus Trek (2 days)
Australian Camp and Dhampus Trek is short, easy as well as very lovely hiking tour with an amazing experience. It is just 2 days of a hiking trip. It starts after an hour smooth drive from Pokhara to Kande. From Kande, you start hiking following stone staircase which is a bit steep. After half an hour of walking, you will reach Australian Camp which is situated on the ridge and having an unbelievable view of Mount Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail) and Lamjung Himal. From Australian Camp, you can also see the striking views of the Pokhara valley. From Australian Camp, you will hike down through forest trail with chirping sounds of different birds to arrive at the beautiful village Dhampus. Dhampus village is also one of the gateways of Annapurna Base Camp Trek which blessed with majestic views of the Annapurna Himalayan Range. Ghandruk Trek (3 days)
Ghandruk Trek is another short and hiking trip near to Pokhara. The major highlight of this trekking is Ghandruk village. Located at an altitude of 1940 meters/6360 feet Ghandruk is the major village of Gurung people. It has a cluster of slate-roofed houses surrounded by neatly terraced fields. From the village, you can enjoy the superb views of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre and Hiunchuli. The trek starts with a short drive from Pokhara to Phedi. From Phedi, you follow the trail to Dhampus ridge. After Dhampus the trail climbs to Pothana then after short down and up it reaches Tolka followed by Landrung. From Landrung village the trail downhill Modi Khola (Stream). After crossing Modi Khola over suspension bridge you climb gently to Ghandruk village. From Ghandruk it’s all the way downhill walking to Modi Khola. Then you follow the river valley through birch forest and rice terraces to Birethanti followed by Nayapul. You end you hiking at Nayapul and drive to Pokhara.

Poon Hill Trek (3 days)
Poon Hill is probably the most popular short trekking near Pokhara. Poon Hill (3210 m) is also one of the perfect viewpoints for the Mount Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range. The sunrise view from Poon Hill is really an exciting experience. Poon Hill trek is also enriched with lush forest, recurrent river, and beautiful ethnic villages. Poon Hill Trek can also be extended by a few more days. The hiking starts from an hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul. After crosse over Modi River, you reach Birethanti village. Leaving this village you continue walking to Tikhe Dhunga. From Tikhe Dunga you ascend on 3000 steps of the stone staircase to reach Ulleri village. From Ulleri after one and half of ascent, you reach Ghorepani. After a night halt at the tea house of Ghorepani, next day early in the morning you hike up to Poon Hill for the Sunrise as well as beautiful Himalaya views. After that you back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then retrace your steps down following the same route to Hile and Nayapul. From Nayapul you drive back to Pokhara.

Mardi Himal Trek (5 days)

This route is into the territory of Annapurna Conservation Area. It offers picturesque views of Annapurna Range, Fishtail, Mardi Himal, Dhaulagiri, and Manaslu. Apart from Himalayan views, the green hills, the forest of rhododendron and oak trees are other fascinating attractions of this trip. The final destination of this trek is the base camp of Mardi Himal (4500 meters) which is located just beneath Mt. Machhapuchhre (Fish Tail). The journey of Mardi Himal trek starts by one hour drive from Pokhara to Kande. You start hiking from Kande to Pothana or Deurali. Then you move towards Low Camp, then to High Camp, and finally to Mardi Himal Base Camp. After the beautiful experience in base camp, we trek down to Sidding. From Sidding, you drive back to Pokhara by jeep, car or van.

Annapurna Base Camp is the foothill of the world’s 10th highest Mountain ‘Annapurna’. ABC trek also the combination of spectacular mountain views, charming villages, green forest, river basin, glacier, natural hot spring etc. To join ABC trek from Pokhara you take a 3 hr drive to Siwai via Nayapul. From Siwai you start trekking following the trail that leads to Jhinu Danda. As you ascend to Jhinu Danda, you will cross over Kimrong River and pass several farmlands of villages and scenic waterfalls. From Jhinu Danda it’s a short scenic walk to Chhomrong village. After Sinuwa, the trail passes the forested area. After a night halt at Himalaya, you hike up to Hinko Cave and then crossing old avalanche area reach at Deurali. From Deurali, you follow the trail along Modi River all the way to Machhapuchhre Base camp. Then you continue to hike to Annapurna Base Camp. After one stay at base camp, you trace your hiking following the previous trail. You will end the hiking trip at Siwai and back to Pokhara.
