Annapurna I (8090m), Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchhare – Fishtail (6993m), Hiuchuli (6444m), Baraha Shikhar (7647m), Gangapurna 7575m and Mardi Himal 5553m, etc. Moreover, scenic terraced landscape, rhododendron trees, breathtaking Sunrise and Sunset View from the High Camp make a surprise to all people who go for Mardi Himal trek.
The gateway city of Mardi Himal Trek is Pokhara. From Pokhara, you drive to Sidding village. It is around three hours of drive. From Sidding, you start hiking upstairs to Low Camp. From Low Camp, people will have probably the best views of Machhapuchhre anywhere in Nepal along with sunrise and sunset views.
Above this at 3580 m is a high camp which again offers spectacular views overlooking Annapurna Base camp. Further along, you can then reach Mardi Himal Basecamp itself with views overlooking all of the Annapurna range. There are no guesthouses in Mardi Himal Base Camp. So, from High Camp after walked to Mardi Himal Base Camp you again back to High Camp or Low Camp for night spend. Then you trek down to Siding and Lumre where trekking ends. After that, you drive back to Pokhara.
8 DAYS MARDI HIMAL TREK ITINERARY
(From Arrival to Kathmandu, Nepal to Departure from Kathmandu, Nepal)
Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu International airport. We pick up at the airport by our private vehicle and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Coach. Driving 7 hours. Drive from Pokhara to Sidding by Jeep. Driving 3:30 hours. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 3: Trekking from Sidding to Low Camp (Alt 2970m/9504ft). Walking 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 4: Trekking from Low camp to High Camp (Alt. 3900m/ 12795ft). Walking 3 to 4 hours. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 5: Early morning hiking to View Point (4300m) Mardi Himal Base Camp (Alt. 4500m/ 14763ft), return back to Low Camp. Walking 5 to 6 hours.
Day 6: Trekking from Low Camp to Sidhing Village (Alt. 1700m/5440ft). Walking 4 hours. Drive from Sidhing Village to Pokhara. Driving 3:30 hours. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara
Day 7: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu by Tourist Coach. Evening farewell dinner at an authentic restaurant with Nepali Cultural show. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 8: Final Departure from Nepal. We drop you at Kathmandu International airport in our car for your flight to your country.
4 DAYS MARDI HIMAL TREK ITINERARY
(From Pokhara to Pokhara)
Day 1: Early morning drive from Pokhara to Sidding by Jeep. Driving 3:30 hours. Trekking from Sidding to Low Camp (Alt 2970m/9504ft). Walking 5 to 6 hours. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 2: Trekking from Low camp to High Camp (Alt. 3900m/ 12795ft). Walking 3 to 4 hours. Overnight at Mountain Lodge.
Day 3: Early morning hiking to View Point (4300m) Mardi Himal Base Camp (Alt. 4500m/ 14763ft), return back to Low Camp. Walking 5 to 6 hours.
Day 4: Trekking from Low Camp to Sidhing Village (Alt. 1700m/5440ft). Walking 4 hours. Drive from Sidhing Village to Pokhara. Driving 3:30 hours.
