From there, you’ll gradually ascend through oak and rhododendron forests to the alpine meadows of Manang, which offer stunning views of the surrounding peaks. As you continue your journey, you’ll cross the Thorong La Pass (5,416m), one of the highest passes in the world. The Thorong La Pass offers some of the most dramatic scenery in the entire circuit. This pass is a challenging but rewarding climb. Once you’ve crossed the pass, you’ll descend into the valley of Muktinath, a holy site, which is considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists.
