Trip Overview

Kushma Bungee (Bungy) Jump is the second tallest Bungee jump in the world. Likewise, Swing is the world’s highest one. Kusma Bungee Jump’s structure is based on the gorge of Kaligandaki River that connects Kushma, the district headquarters of Parbat, with Balewa of Baglung via the 525 meters suspension bridge. So the Kushma Bungee jump spot is located on the border of Baglung and the Kushma district of Nepal.

The Kusma bungee Jump scales the height of 228 Meters. It holds the world’s second-highest bungee jump in the world after The AJ Hackett Macau Tower Bungy Jump which is 232 meters in height. In side Nepal Kushma Bungee is the highest bungee jump than others are available here.

This bridge is also the longest suspension bridge in Nepal. The massive main span is similar in design to Russia’s Sochi AJ Hackett Skybridge Bungy site with a walkway suspended 3 meters below 8 parallel steel cables. The truss stiffened walkway has a mesh grill deck approximately 1.5 meters wide.

This bridge can handle up to 200 tons of weight.  If the bridge is filled with people, it would weigh approximately 60 tons. However, the bridge can handle three folds higher weight than just 60 tons.

Another beauty of Kusma Bungee Jump is it is scenic.  The site is surrounded by nature. The highest bungee jump site is in Macau of China with a height of 233 meters but it is situated on the top of a tower. How far Kusma Bunjee Site from Kathmandu and Pokhara?

The Bungee Site of Kusma, Parbat is 262 Kilometers road distance from Kathmandu and 62 Kilometers from Pokhara. From Pokhara it can be reached within 2 hours of drive. From this site Nayapul, the starting point of Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek, Annapurna Base Camp Trek, and Khopra Danda Trek, is just 20 kilometers ahead towards Pokhara.

Things to be noted before Bungee/ Swing

1. Bungy Weight Max: 98 kg* and Min: 38 kg.
2. Swing Weight (Tandem) Max: 128 kg* and Min 38 kg.
3. Medical: Recent surgery, broken bones, asthma, dislocation, heart disease, high/low pressure, epilepsy, pregnancy, artificial limbs, neurological disorder, recent strains, back problem, ligament tear, ankle strain- the person who has any of the mentioned medical conditions, please consult with your doctor before booking for Bungy or swing.
4. For Bungy, wear proper shoes (sport shoes).
5. No Power glasses (wear contact lenses).
