The scenic 2 days Poon Hill trek starts after around 3 hours of drive from Pokhara to Ulleri. Pokhara is a beautiful town in western Nepal 210 km in distance from Kathmandu. Ulleri is the largest village of Magar Community in the Annapurna region at an altitude of 1952 m/ 6402 ft. From Ulleri you can view Mt. Annapurna South and Mt. Fishtail. After one hour of ascent, you will reach the place called Banthanti. This place provides you with an endless vista of the green valley and also the view of Mt. Fishtail.

After Banthanti, your ascent continues through the cool and misty forest which is full of rhododendron trees. In the forest, you may see monkeys playing and many species of birds resting in the trees. Then arrive at Ghorepani. In Ghorepani, there are several lodges for the night halt.

The next day, early in the morning our guide wakes up you and takes you to climb Poon Hill for the Sunrise View. And you will climb early morning to the Poon hill (3210m/ 10532ft) for the sunrise. It takes 1 hour of walking to reach Poon Hill summit from Ghorepani. From Poon Hill, you will, of course, enjoy enchanting Sunrise and views of the gigantic Himalayas. From Poon Hill you get best views of Churen Himal, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Nilgiri, Fan Peak (Baraha Shikar), Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Himchuli, Mt. Gangapurna, Mt. Fish Tail and Mt. Churen Himal.

After enjoying Poon Hill you walk back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then retrace your steps down following the same route to Ulleri. Then, from Ulleri you take a drive to Pokhara.

2 Days Poon Hill Trek (Pokhara to Pokhara)

Day 1: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri (Alt 1960m/6430ft)- 40 Km by Jeep. Trekking from Ulleri to Ghorepani (Alt. 2860m/9295ft). Driving around 3 hours. Walking 4 hours. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 2: Early morning trekking from Ghorepani to Poon Hill. Then to trek back to Ulleri. Drive from Ulleri to Pokhara by Jeep.

6 Days Poon Hill Trek (Kathmandu to Kathmandu)

Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu International airport. We pick up at the airport by our car and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by Tourist Coach, 200 km west of Kathmandu. Driving 7 hours. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri (Alt 1960m/6430ft) – 40 Km by Jeep. Trekking from Ulleri to Ghorepani (Alt. 2860m/9295ft). Driving around 3 hours. Walking 4 hours. Overnight at Tea House.

Day 4: Early morning trekking from Ghorepani to Poon Hill. Then to trek back to Ulleri. Drive from Ulleri to Pokhara by Jeep. Overnight at Hotel in Pokhara.

Day 5: Drive back from Pokhara to Kathmandu by Tourist Coach. Evening farewell dinner with Nepali Cultural show. Overnight at Hotel in Kathmandu.

Day 6: Final Departure from Nepal. We drop you at Kathmandu International airport by our car for your flight to your country.
