ITINERARY OF ASTAM VILLAGE TREK TOUR
Day 1: Arrival in Kathmandu.
Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, our officer will receive and welcome you. He/she will be displaying your nameplate outside the airport terminal. You will be then transferred to your respective hotel in our private tourist vehicle. At the hotel, you will have a trip briefing. Overnight at hotel in Kathmandu
Day 2: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara.
In the morning, you will be transferred to Tourist Bust Station, Sorahkhutte nearby Thamel to take the bus to Pokhara. The driving distance is 210 km and it will take around 6 hours drive. Pokhara is also called a city of lakes which has Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, Rupa Lake, and more. It also offers the panoramic view of Fishtail Peak (Machhapucharre 6,993m), Annapurna (8,091m), Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Manaslu (8,156m), and Lamjung Himal. Upon reaching Pokhara check-in at Hotel. Free and relax. You can walk around the lakeside in Pokhara, explore the market and relax. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara
Note: Kathmandu Pokhara is also connected by flight. If you take a flight it will take 25 minutes.
Day 3: Drive from Pokhara to Hemja. Trek from Hemja to Astam Village (Altitude 1568 meters). Average Walking 3/ 4 hours
In the morning our guide meets you at the hotel. Have breakfast at the hotel. Then you drive to Hemja (Milan Chowk). It takes around 40 minutes. From Milan Chowk, you start your trek slowly to Astam village through the village and forest. This village is 3 to 4 hours trekking from Milan Chowk. Astam eco-village is situated at an altitude of 1568 m and 20km northwest of Pokhara. Explore the Astam village and enjoy the wonderful Himalayan vista. Overnight stay in guest house/ lodge in Astam.
Day 4: Trek from Astam Village to Dhampus via Hyangja Kot village (Altitude 1708 meters). Average Walking 5 hours
Astam village is one of the proper places to see the wonderful Sunrise. Thus wake up early in the morning and enjoy the Sunrise with magnificent Mountain views. After breakfast, you start trek towards Dhampus. After Astam Village, you pass through the Hyangja Kot village. Hyangja Kot village is also famous as a viewpoint of Annapurna Ranges. We will reach Dhampus in the afternoon. Explore Dhampus Village and its surroundings. Overnight stay in guest house/ lodge in Dhampus.
Day 5: Trek from Dhampus to Australian Camp (Altitude 2000 meters) to Kande. Average Walking 4 hours. Drive from Kande to Pokhara.
Wake up early in the morning and again enjoy the sunrise view over Mt Annapurna from Dhampus. After breakfast, you again start trek to Australian Camp (2000 m). It is only around 2 hours walking from Dhampus to Australian Camp. From Australian Camp, you can also enjoy the panoramic landscape as well as the snowcapped mountains like Annapurna, Fishtail, etc. From Australian Camp, you will descend to the place called Kande along the highway. It is around 2 hours walking from the Australian Camp to Kande. Our car will be waiting for you at Kande to pick up and drive all the way to Pokhara. Upon reaching Pokhara check-in at Hotel. Then free and relax. Overnight at hotel in Pokhara
Day 6: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Tourist Bus Terminal at Pokhara. Then you board the tourist bus. You will follow the same highway through beautiful rivers, hills, and small Nepalese settlements. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, check-in at the hotel. Free time to explore Thamel Market. Evening, you will be offered a farewell dinner at a typical Nepali restaurant with a cultural show. Overnight at a hotel in Kathmandu.
Day 7: Departure from Nepal.
The trip concludes today. Our airport representative will drop you at the international airport in Kathmandu for your flight departure from Nepal.
