Likewise, it politically lies between Asia’s two giant nations: China and India. Nepal is of roughly trapezoidal shape. It is 800 kilometers (497 miles) long and 200 kilometers (124 mi) wide, with an area of 147,181 square kilometers (56,827 square miles). The capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu. The people who live in Nepal are referred to as Nepalese.
